Platform Change Management Analyst

Position summary

Responsible for managing all aspects of IT Governance process for changes for large and complex

SAP landscape (multiple layers, multiple products supporting Oil & Gas business) in a support group

that is globally distributed, including prioritizing change requests, assessing their impact, and

accepting or rejecting changes. This person will have a deep understanding of managing an internal

SAP governance process to ensure policy compliance of changes (MoC).

Responsibilities:

 Large Scale IT infrastructure rollouts of systems of technologies across mulঞple

sites/locaঞons/countries.

 Assist users with IT ঞckeঞng system quesঞons and issues related to Change Mgmt.

 Identify and report issues and enhancement requests for IT ticketing system modules that

Change Mgmt. Team is responsible for.

 Provide support on changes to the technical teams, system owners and stakeholders.

 Harmonize logisঞcs changes for SAP landscape systems along with other components (Network,

OS, Database and etc)

 Provide governance metrics and reports for different audiences.

 Analyze and approve changes accordingly to the best pracঞces, processes and criteria’s.

 Ensure that change/communicaঞon coming from the Infrastructure Services technology towers to

the end users is fit for purpose, has the appropriate approvals and is readily legible by end users.

 Provide conঞnuous improvement suggesঞons for operaঞons and support of the areas menঞoned

above.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and ITSM (IT Service Management) knowledge – ITIL cerঞficaঞon

(Desirable).

• knowledge of infrastructure services and relevant customer technologies, preferably with large,

complex enterprise-level programs.

• Must have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effecঞvely with a variety

of individuals and skill levels.

• Must possess good analyঞcal skills to troubleshoot and resolve process, ঞckeঞng system, and

interpersonal issues.

• Must be proacঞve in managing workload and communicate up when ঞme is available to work on

addiঞonal tasks.

• Ensures that regular consistent communicaঞon takes place within area of responsibility.

• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to influence outcomes through persuasion, building consensus

and negoঞaঞng soluঞons.

• Ability to operate as part of a global team.

• Ability to mulঞ-task and manage workload under ঞme pressure and changing prioriঞes.

• Have worked with Agile methodology.

• 3-5 years of either IT Governance processes.

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
