Product Manager/BA – Merchant Acquisition

Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Product Manager & Business Analyst in Merchant Acquisition to work onsite in Milan based on the specification below:

  • Understand client’s product vision & business objectives
  • Conduct market research and data analysis to understand the consumers & merchant’s requirements in Europe and especially Italy – analyze data, market trends, and competitive insights to improve products
  • Work directly with end customers & merchants to understand pain points and opportunities to improve the product
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure product success
  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders to formulate product strategy
  • Create business requirement documents
  • Ensure the requirements are aligned with the regulatory requirements
  • Participate in backlog management
  • Ensure requirements are aligned with budget & timelines
  • Liaise with the Product Owners to help them create Product Specification Documents
  • Support Product Owners & Implementation team to realize the product vision & business objectives.

Expected Qualifications & Skills:

  • Good understanding of Retail & Digital Banking including Customer & Merchant Acquisition, Onboarding & Processing
  • Working experience on Super-Apps or Banking-Apps is a good to have
  • Experience of Europe Merchant Acquisition a must – experience of Italian market is also good to have
  • Strong hold on the overall European payments’ ecosystem including SEPA and in-store & e-commerce payments – experience of Italian market is also good to have
  • Experience of working with Product Management team & agile methodologies is a plus
  • Experience working with distributed teams (onsite/near-shore/off-shore).
  • Language requirements: Fluent English; Italian is an advantage
