Project Overview:
The Program is a global SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation for a leading client in the chemical industry. The program involves full-cycle SAP implementation, including finance, controlling, logistics, and other functional areas.Â
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM) Consultant who also has a solid background in SAP Controlling (CO). The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP PAPM models, ensuring seamless integration with SAP CO, and supporting profitability and performance management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the design and implementation of SAP PAPM solutions within the S/4HANA Private Cloud environment.
– Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for PAPM models.
– Develop, customize, and optimize PAPM models to support profitability, cost allocation, and performance analysis.
– Ensure proper integration between PAPM and SAP CO modules (e.g., Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, etc.).
– Support business users in testing activities (SIT, UAT) and provide end-user training if required.
– Collaborate closely with Finance, Controlling, and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
– Provide expert advice on SAP PAPM best practices and recommend improvements for existing processes.
– Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and provide ongoing support for PAPM-related topics.
Required Skills & Experience:
– Strong experience with SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM) including model design, configuration, and implementation.
– Solid experience with SAP Controlling (CO), including but not limited to:
– Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
– Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
– Product Costing (PC)
– Internal Orders
– Good understanding of integration between PAPM and SAP S/4HANA Finance modules.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
– Experience in full-cycle SAP projects (design to deployment) in an S/4HANA environment is a plus.
– Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
– Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, multicultural, and collaborative environment.
Nice-to-Have:
– Prior experience in the Chemicals or Manufacturing industry.
