Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned SAP Project Manager to lead an Application Management Support (AMS) team focused on a SAP ECC environment. You will manage a team of 4–5 onshore consultants, working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery, efficient support operations, and adherence to SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee AMS operations for SAP ECC, ensuring incident, service request, and change request management
- Act as the main liaison between the client and delivery team
- Lead and coordinate a cross-functional onshore team (functional and technical consultants)
- Monitor SLA performance and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Conduct regular governance and operational meetings with stakeholders
- Identify areas of improvement within support processes and implement enhancements
- Support documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of SAP experience with at least 2+ years in an AMS or service delivery management role
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC environment, especially core modules like SD, MM, FICO, HCM, or ABAP
- Experience managing small onshore teams
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy
- ITIL certification or understanding of IT service management processes is a plus
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience supporting ECC to S/4HANA transition or planning
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Background as a functional or technical SAP consultant
