Project Overview
Join the global SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation program “SyWay” for a major client in the chemical industry. The program includes a strong focus on project and portfolio management, integrating planning, budgeting, and performance tracking capabilities. Accurate and well-governed data is essential for supporting financial planning and execution across capital and strategic initiatives.
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP PS/PPM Data Specialist to oversee data activities for Project System (PS) and Portfolio and Project Management (PPM). The specialist will act as the key interface between IT and project/finance stakeholders, ensuring structured and validated planning and budgeting data is available throughout the program lifecycle.
All data activities will be executed using the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of planning, budgeting, and financial tracking data for SAP PS and PPM.
- Collaborate with PMO, Finance, and functional teams to gather requirements and validate financial data structures.
- Coordinate end-to-end data lifecycle activities using Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).
- Ensure alignment of portfolio and project data with financial processes and reporting standards.
- Support test, cutover, and post-go-live activities related to project planning and budget control data.
- Act as the primary bridge between IT and business teams for PS/PPM data topics.

Required Skills & Experience
- Deep understanding of SAP Project System (PS) and Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) data structures and processes.
- Experience with project budgeting, planning, portfolio structuring, and financial integration.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments and financial planning best practices.
- Hands-on experience with data migration tools—ideally the Syniti Knowledge Platform (SKP).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to ensure traceability, alignment, and compliance of financial project data.
- Fluent in English; effective communication and collaboration in remote, multicultural teams.
