DBRE Site Reliability Engineer Databases
Location: Barcelona/Spain with a hybrid work 8 days a month in the office
Permanent Contract within an End Client – Large retail Company
Experience: minimum of 4 years of experience
Your tasks
- You and your team will improve the reliability and performance of our database services
- You implement solutions and best practices for our database products
- You ensure that we learn from mistakes and improve our monitoring accordingly
- You and your colleagues minimize production downtimes and develop solution strategies
- You ensure that our database services scale  Â

Your profile
- You are a cloud enthusiast or want to become one
- Technical challenges motivate you
- Experience with databases: You have experience with relational or NoSQL databases
- Technical skills: You have knowledge of Golang, Kubernetes and experience with automation tools
- Analytical skills: You have an analytical mindset and can solve complex problems to improve the performance and availability of our databases
- Communication skills: You have excellent communication skills and can explain complex technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner
- Willingness to learn: You have the passion and desire to continuously develop and learn new technologies in order to keep our database infrastructure up to date
