Job Title: Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA RISE Program Manager to lead a major digital transformation initiative within the retail industry, leveraging SAP S/4HANA RISE hosted on AWS. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who brings together strong technical expertise, retail domain knowledge, and a track record of delivering complex SAP projects through modern methodologies including the Bluefield™ approach, Fiori enablement, and clean core extensibility. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience integrating SAP with native AWS services and driving business value through SAP’s latest innovations. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the successful delivery of end-to-end SAP S/4HANA RISE on AWS transformation programs, aligning with retail business goals and cloud strategy. • Champion the Bluefield™ implementation approach, enabling a hybrid migration of existing and new business processes while activating mandatory S/4HANA innovations. • Ensure full enablement of SAP Fiori UX, including setup, role mapping, custom tile creation, and adoption strategies. • Embed SAP Clean Core principles, avoiding modifications to the S/4HANA core and enabling extensibility via SAP BTP, embedded Steampunk, and key user tools. • Implement and integrate SAP Retail, SAP CAR, SAP F&R, and ensure connectivity with eCommerce platforms, POS, and logistics networks. • Drive real-time integration with AWS services (e.g., Amazon S3, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway) using AWS ABAP SDK and RESTful APIs with secure authentication. • Coordinate data migration, cleansing, and master data harmonization, ensuring readiness for realtime business scenarios in retail operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams in areas such as Finance (FI/CO), Merchandising, Store Ops, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Management. • Oversee delivery of testing cycles (SIT, UAT), cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare support phases. • Manage all stakeholder relationships, including internal business units, external SAP consultants, AWS partners, and third-party vendors. • Establish and track project KPIs, budgets, risks, and change management strategies. • Drive user adoption, training programs, and change enablement to support long-term transformation success. Key Qualifications and Skills: • At least 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, with direct experience in S/4HANA RISE on AWS, including retail-specific rollouts. • Proven expertise with the Bluefield™ migration strategy and delivering mandatory S/4HANA innovations (e.g., Universal Journal, Business Partner, Advanced ATP). • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Retail, SAP CAR, SAP F&R, and integration across SAP MM, SD, FI/CO, and EWM modules. • Experience integrating SAP with AWS-native tools and services using AWS ABAP SDK, REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud-based messaging. • Deep knowledge of SAP Fiori architecture, deployment, customization, and role-based access setup. • Advocate of the SAP Clean Core philosophy with practical experience using SAP BTP, embedded Steampunk, and extensibility tools. • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is highly desirable. • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. • Ability to manage complex project portfolios, timelines, scope, and multi-vendor delivery environments. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
