The EAA Developer engineering team in the Enterprise Applications & Architecture organization needs a Salesforce Software Engineer for help supporting our Asset Listings team. Their focus is to improve the overall support capabilities of this growing organization. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): 

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications, integrations, and enhancements using Apex, Lightning Web Components and other related Salesforce technologies
  • Collaborate with product managers, platform administrators, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance and delivery of Salesforce platform solutions following Coinbase and industry best practices.
  • Design and implement data models, custom objects, workflows, and automation using programmatic and declarative tools
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications to ensure high quality and performance
  • Functional testing of other teammates work
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST and related middleware tools
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and potential solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions and improvements
  • Participate in code reviews, peer programming, and knowledge sharing sessions to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment
  • Document technical designs, specifications, and development processes to ensure comprehensive understanding and maintainable solutions
  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce configuration
  • Trigger handling framework and enterprise pattern implementations (e.g. FFLIB)
  • Experience with GitHub and source driven development
  • Ability to utilize AI development tools like Cursor
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills are required
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Compatible with EST working hours; experience being a remote team member
NIce to Have:
  • Experience in JavaScript, Go, or Python programming languages
  • Salesforce architect certifications, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II 
  • Knowledge of GitHub actions and advanced CI/CD configurations
  • Public trailhead biography or GitHub repository or portfolio.
