Job Title: SAP BASIS Consultant (ECC)
Location: Singapore
Role Overview:
We are looking for a SAP BASIS Consultant to support our client's SAP landscape, primarily focused on ECC environments. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong technical foundation and a desire to grow within SAP Basis administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to support day-to-day system operations and assist in ongoing BASIS tasks under the guidance of senior consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP ECC systems (and related environments like DEV, QA, PROD)
- Perform user administration, transport management, system monitoring, and performance tuning
- Assist in SAP kernel upgrades, patch applications, and backup/restoration procedures
- Support database administration activities in collaboration with DBAs (e.g., Oracle, HANA, or SQL Server)
- Provide support for SAP system refreshes and client copies
- Assist in resolving tickets and technical issues raised by users
- Document procedures and maintain BASIS operations manuals
- Collaborate with functional teams and escalate critical issues to senior consultants when needed
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration or relevant internship/project experience
- Familiarity with SAP ECC 6.0 system architecture and administration tasks
- Basic understanding of database and OS concepts (Linux/Windows preferred)
- Exposure to system monitoring tools (SAP Solution Manager or other) is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Strong communication and documentation skills
