Mission

We are seeking expertise in SAP EHS to join our Support & Maintenance team, focusing on HSE applications. 

The role involves designing and implementing necessary evolutions and improvements to ensure business continuity. 

This includes writing functional specifications for developers, testing, validating, and documenting customizations and development changes. 

Collaboration with the IT organization, product managers, and HSE experts is essential to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes. 

Participation as a project member or Project Manager in the implementation of project solutions across all phases is expected. 

Strong technical skills within SAP EHS and basic functional knowledge of applicable regulations within the chemical industry are required. 

Expertise should encompass key areas such as Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Expert Rules, Dangerous Goods Management, SVHC, SVT, and PCN. A basic understanding of software development and interfacing tools will be beneficial.

Objectives and deliverables

We are looking for expertise to manage and enhance SAP EHS applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.

– Support in solving incidents and bugs.

– Apply technical expertise to manage, improve, and support existing software applications to ensure business continuity.

– Write functional specifications for developers.

– Test, validate, and document customizations and development changes.

– Collaborate with product managers and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes.

– Participate as a project member or Project Manager for the development of new software applications.

– Support key EHS processes including Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, and global label management.

– Support Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern) Poison Control Notification (PCN), and other registration processes as applicable in the Chemicals industry.
