Role Summary – 1

Assigned to the Delivery squad, this consultant works within the Oil & Gas downstream domain, utilizing SAP IS-Oil&Gas solutions and coordinating with EDI partners. Their core focus is on commercial (commerce) processes within SAP ECC, aligning business needs in the oil & gas sector with robust SAP functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with downstream oil & gas stakeholders to capture commercial requirements and adapt SAP IS-Oil&Gas features.
• Coordinate with EDI partners to ensure seamless electronic data interchange for sales, distribution, or trading.
• Troubleshoot daily transactional issues (pricing, taxes, billing) and propose sustainable fixes or improvements.
• Suggest new functionalities or system enhancements specific to the oil & gas downstream value chain.
• Provide end-user support and training to optimize adoption of commerce-related solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of SAP IS-Oil&Gas experience (with ECC context), especially in downstream operations.
• Experience with EDI processes and integration best practices.
• Fluent in French and English; ability to navigate complex commercial and technical discussions.
• Familiarity with both waterfall-based project rollouts and iterative (Agile) enhancements.

Role Summary – 2

Within the Delivery squad, this role focuses on Oil & Gas downstream, Refining & Storage, and Transport massif processes, deploying SAP IS Oil&Gas, SAP MM, SAP SD, and TSW (Transport Scheduling & Workflows). The consultant’s primary domain is commerce, bridging the unique business needs of large-scale oil & gas operations with SAP ECC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage refinery and depot stakeholders to design and configure solutions in IS-Oil (downstream), MM, SD, and TSW.
• Oversee daily support requests, including resolving stock management, distribution, or transportation scheduling issues.
• Drive enhancements for large-scale transport and bulk movement processes (e.g., TSW improvements).
• Align cross-functional modules (finance, planning) to ensure integrated commercial flows.
• Deliver user training and maintain process documentation tailored to oil & gas supply chains.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of SAP ECC experience with IS Oil&Gas, particularly in refining/depot environments.
• Solid background in MM and SD modules for commercial transactions.
• Bilingual (French/English); strong stakeholder management in large oil & gas settings.
• Ability to manage both traditional Waterfall deliverables and Agile sprints for system enhancements.
