Project Context:
Join a major global SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation for a leading multinational corporation in the chemical industry. The program involves complex logistics execution across various regions and requires integration with multiple third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Logistics Execution (LE) / Logistics (LO) Consultant with strong experience in SAP–3PL integration to support the global rollout of S/4HANA. You will play a key role in defining and implementing logistics processes across warehouses and distribution centers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and integration of SAP LE/LO processes with external 3PL systems (via EDI, IDoc, or other middleware tools)
- Collaborate with global and local logistics teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proper mapping and interface development
- Support testing, data validation, cutover, and hypercare activities related to logistics and 3PL integration
- Ensure global process standardization while adapting to local regulatory and logistical needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across warehousing, shipping, and goods movement processes
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of SAP LE / LO experience, including full lifecycle implementations
- Proven track record of integrating SAP with multiple 3PL providers globally
- Strong knowledge of EDI, IDocs, shipping notifications, and warehouse communications
- Experience working in global, multi-country environments (MNCs)
- Solid understanding of S/4HANA logistics functionalities and differences from ECC
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a virtual, multicultural team setting
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry
- Understanding of SAP TM (Transportation Management) or EWM
