SAP Service and Asset Manager (SAM) Developer
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Service and Asset Manager (SAM) developer to support our SAP operations in UNCON (downstream). This role will play a critical part in supporting the field service end user mobility experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP applications, particularly SAM, and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations, maintenance, and enhancement of the SAM system. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to optimize asset management processes and improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day to day SAM support for UNCON business that includes troubleshooting issues as they arise, making SAM configuration changes, or working on new developments to enhance the end user experience within SAM
• Optimizing the data sync performance and availability of the SAM application
• Manage user access and permissions within the SAM system, ensuring compliance with security protocols
• Assist users with inquiries and provide training on system functionalities and best practices
• Collaborate with reliability, maintenance, and operations teams to identify process improvements within the SAM framework. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, supply chain, and reliability and maintenance to align SAM functionalities with organizational goals.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the SAM system, performing regular audits and updates as needed
• Assist with application upgrades, testing, training, data migrations, and developing any supporting documentation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems
• 3+ years of functional and development experience with SAP SAM, Syclo, Work Manager / Agentry, or Asset Manager
• Strong experience working IOS and Android tools, Java script, Mobile Development (MDK), SAP Mobile Platform (SMP), and Business Technology Platforms (BTP)
• Experience with Fiori and UI5
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and supply chain
Main requirements:
• Experience as SSAM Developer (SAP Service and Asset Manager)
• Knowledge in iOS e Android tools, JavaScript, Mobile Development (MDK), SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) e Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Experience with Fiori e UI5
