Senior Operation Specialist (Microsoft)

On behalf of our client we are currently looking for a Linux Engineer:

• Project/Customer background: 
• The project is for a client in the Hospitals and Health Care

• Current Phase:
• Operating systems, hardware, software and communication networks.

• Duration: 
• 6 months

Activities:

– Vmware infrastructure with focus on Microsoft Server Operating Systems, in terms of incident and problem resolution, executes Service and Change Request, installs and configures Virtual Machine also in a Microsoft cluster configuration.

– Ensures infrastructure availability by proactively intervening to intercept and resolve potential problems on the Microsoft front

– Actively participates in the process of continuous improvement of the technological infrastructure

– Collects and analyzes the needs of the internal customer and has contact with both technical and functional interlocutors.

– Drafts Operation technical documentation (assessments, reports, solution design, SOW, schemes and diagrams).

The profile we're looking for is at least 70% with focus on Microsoft and 30% on MS SQL or Linux

Skills:

– In-depth knowledge of the architecture and configuration of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems

– Basic knowledge of Active Directory, network services (DNS, DHCP, ADFS)

– Good knowledge of the Vmware virtualization platform and the main virtualization platforms.

– Mastery of the main technologies and best practices for integration between hosts and storage devices

– Good knowledge of the functioning and configuration of computer networks

– In-depth knowledge of the management and maintenance of backup solutions

– Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems involving different aspects of the system under examination

– Knowledge of performance and security issues of IT systems.

– Knowledge of the main monitoring platforms (Nagios)

Preferential requirements

– Knowledge of HPE Hardware (3par, Synergy)

– Basic knowledge of solutions for managing Azure or AWS Cloud environments

– Knowledge of the most common scripting languages.
