Role Title: Workato Integration Architect

Location: US based – Remote (US time zones)

Duration: 3+ Months

Work Status: Must be US Cit or GC (Government clients)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Workato Chef to join our consulting team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on iPaaS integration specialist with proven expertise in Workato platform design, implementation, and post-deployment support across complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with business-savvy thinking and is comfortable leading client-facing workshops and driving business value through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Workato solution design and delivery including requirement gathering, architecture review, and roadmap development
  • Conduct client workshops to understand current-state ("as-is") systems, identify integration opportunities, and define target-state ("to-be") architecture
  • Drive use case prioritization and value mapping aligned to business goals and digital transformation initiatives
  • Develop and document functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with both Workato capabilities and client expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product owners, and technical architects to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Oversee Workato recipe development, testing, deployment, and optimization in line with enterprise integration standards
  • Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, tuning, and enhancements
  • Coach and guide junior developers or internal client teams where applicable

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration, with 2+ years of hands-on Workato experience
  • Proven track record in Workato recipe design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Experience conducting business and technical workshops with senior stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, data mapping/transformation, and authentication protocols
  • Ability to define and articulate value drivers for iPaaS and automation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience aligning Workato solutions to broader digital transformation programs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong business acumen
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workato Certification(s) – Workato Automation Pro I/II or equivalent
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, ServiceNow, or other enterprise platforms
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience strongly preferred
